Jake Gascoyne
I filmed a clip today. That's right, film. Not like 35mm cinema film, just 3 chip Sony VX1000 film. Filming always seemed like the path would-be photographers took once they found out photography isn't easy. And I'm not knocking filmers, it's just a little easier to get a three chip camera and a Century fish-eye lens and call yourself a 'filmer'. So yeah, today I filmed a clip of Jake Gascoyne. This kid took a beating today. First he puts too much wax on the ledge and once he starts trying his trick, his feet are slipping and he's smacking the pavement; like, hard. Anyways, 'nough about filming, I shot these photos the other week and haven't had the time to upload 'em, so here you go. For your viewing pleasure, feast your eyes on three photos shot in one day.
This flat bar is on the side of the High Priestest Tattoo Shop. These are on the Tactics blog, which I write, so that's the reason for the watermark. Backside smith grind and switch crooks.

The tricks above were shot within ten minutes, so we headed to the vacant Kendall lot and Jake got this within several attempts too. The kid's good. Switch varial heelflip.
